It’s fun to see comic strip crossovers, partly because it shows the skill of each cartoonist to bring another’s character to life. But you know I’ve always wondered, do you guys need to ask each other’s permission first?
Scott, Just wondering. Do cartoonists ask permission to use character’s from another strip. I picture you guys all getting together for a drink at the end of the day, so it’s probably a close fraternity.

A bit of advice: If Rat stays in your universe, warn the creator not to go for the quick and easy joke by using a pun. Rat carries a huge mallet!
