Second, Leo Durocher never actually said, “Nice guys finish last”. He listed a bunch of talented players and said they’d be wonderful to have dinner with, but he’d never want them on his team because they’ll finish last because they’re too nice.

There was a swimmer I think in 2016 I really felt sorry for. He broke the world record in one of the events and came in third. Yikes!
