For some unknown reason, the Owens Valley/Eastern Sierra does NOT have fleas! Ticks, yes, but no fleas.

From today’s strip, it would seem that fleas are the ultimate party animals.

Oliver does seem to have a way with words.

We were told when we moved here that fleas aren’t a problem because it’s too hot and dry. So far, that seems to be the case.

Sure, those fleas are pesky, but they sure know how to party! Still, I wish they’d leave Oliver alone. On another note, saw two juncos and a damselfly while out walking today.
