@derdave:That started out as 500 of his closest friends and over 200 servants until they were unmasked and decided to reduce the guest count so the liberal comedians and the MSM (but I’m repeating myself), wouldn’t call them a super-spreader event. Maybe there were only 200 private jets and private limousines (plus all the servants) going to a mansion that would have been covered in ocean if “man-made global warming” was an actual concern. Never let a manufactured crisis go to waste, there’s graft to go around.

Don’t worry, the unmasked crowd will be a little thinner next week.

They are too late. Once they entered the room, and took a breath, they were already exposed.

Thanks to the antivaxxers and non-maskers we will, in Tucker Carlson’s words, “have to wear these filthy, dirty, wet rags on our faces for the rest of our lives.”

I was on a cruise recently one of the people wasn’t wearing a mask. I offered one to him. He said, “I don’t need one. If I haven’t caught Covid by now, I won’t.” Yup, there are literally thousands of people in hospitals dying at this moment who had the same idea.

I discovered that wearing the mask outside, even when no one was around helped my asthma. Fully vaxed and proud of it.

An avoidance tactic may be in order.

I’m just amazed at anyone who asks why I’m “still” wearing a mask, as if all this was over, and everything is perfectly all right. Sheesh.

Those folks on the left (in the panel) are the types that we can thank for the recent surge in infections, and the resultant return of mandates and other restrictions and overflows in our nation’s Intensive Care wards.

Masks may not be perfect, but they diminish the amount of transmission. There is a correlation between the number of viruses inhaled and the severity of disease. Also, I wear my mask so I don’t share any viruses I might have despite being vaccinated. Vaccinated people can still get sick, but they fight it off better.

Since the pandemic, I’ve been in favor of using the Vulcan salute in place of handshaking. Now I see this new idea of saying, “Shields up!” instead of “Don’t forget to put your mask on.” I like it!

I read am article in Scientific American (a publication too toxic for ReTrumpliKKKlans) about the demonstrations in Hong Kong.

The government shut down the networks to prevent people from coordinating their efforts. However, people could implement peer-to-peer networks using their phones.

The analysis went on to show how the efficiency of communications increased with the number of nodes and node density. In other words, the more phones in the network and the closer they are together, the more likely a message can be transmitted.

Now substitute non-vaccinated people for phones and COVID for message in the last sentence.
