you know how the species survives? because when the strong ones survive, those are the ones who mate. It keeps the species healthy. Do you know why is important that hippos population is controlled by droughts? because is a big animal that would destroy the environment for other species and has no natural predators. This cartoon went from cheesy pirates to forced and lame oh so cute..
Total long shot, but…. 20+ years ago, there was a strip where the captain was looking out the window, thinking, “Look at that icy, rough sea. You’d definitely get dragged down to your death in there…” and he muses on that for a panel or two. And in the last panel we see a salesman boring him to death with a lot of talk about which life insurance policy he should buy. Does anyone remember it?! I still laugh about that one. Thanks for all the years of happiness, Maestro Dunham.
Great idea! But first put out a general announcement so you can get as many Monarchs as possible. They don’t weigh much and would probably appreciate the ride!

Deep south Mexico, where they don’t get snow.
Finally. Get on it, Captain.
