Most essential occupations that serve the public or make goods that the public uses have minimal job experience requirements that exclude the unqualified, a set of professional standards, and an objective recruitment team that would make a sincere attempt to also exclude those with anti-social behavior.

Why, then, have politicians been excluded from this type of vetting and background checks that most of the rest of us are subject to?

Politicians are expected to rise above but never to climb on top of their constituents and/or staff.

If Cuomo would jump party, he could be the next president.
