I know how it feels to binge watch TV because I get swamped and overwhelmed. When I get done with it I feel relieved. I’m watching Disney Plus and Amazon Prime there’s so many shows to watch that I’m literally swamped.
Brutus is so far out, he’s in. (I don’t think Brutus is out of step at all. He certainly has his priorities right.)
My grandmother would fall asleep watching her “soaps”, and would wake up when the louder commercials would come on. She would complain that the show has nothing but commercials.
Probably a situation comedy. The humor is at best mediocre. Usually they are non intellectual. If you’ve seen one show, you seen them all. They do serve one purpose though, especially for insomniacs. Have a good nap Brutus, or better still, read a good book…..
I am sure the show is Law and Order. I doubt there is a single hour in a day when that show isn’t on one of the channels. It helps that the show has been on for 30 years, so there are beaucoup reruns.

They’re that riveting, aren’t they? Don’t feel bad, Brutus, I find most current shows to be unwatchable.

I’m out of step too. The last tv series I’ve seen is Friends, and not entirely.

Those programs were so good, that I cancelled my cable 7 years ago!! And don’t get me started on those infernal commercials, every 8 minutes!!!

There’s a lot of shows like that I have tried to watch if I fall asleep on the second attempt I don’t try a 3rd time.

Why bother with those shows? There’s other things to watch on cable.

I always thought my favorite tv genre was the sitcom. While watching “The History of the Sitcom” I realized I really disliked most of those shows.

I’ve noticed for a long time now that on Sunday evenings, there is never anything good on TV to watch no matter where you look.

Doesn’t mean you’re out of step, Brutus, maybe you’re just smarter than everybody else.
Now, after describing this show as being so immensely popular, etc., if you said you’d never heard of it — then you’d be out of step.

TV was good for one thing back in the 50’s. Gave world frozen TV dinners to keep kids quite.
