As I was wandering down the beach at Bethany, I believe it was, I came across a woman making a wonderful sand sculpture. It was huge, kids on the beach were “helping” and the basic structure was a dragon with a town on its back. She explained that they had built a town but did not realise it was on a dragon, not land. She would build something different each year while on vacation from Dow, up in Delaware, and she built it below the high tide mark. Part of the fun for the kids was to try to save the doomed sculpture as the water rose.

Could be housing for critters that would take care of any turtle parasites. Thus paying for their lodging.

And for a large enough campaign contribution I can rezone that single family dwelling area into a toxic waste dump for you.

Some suggest that labor intensive businesses are not suitable to heavily occupied areas, except for the ‘clean’ type, such as offices and some retail and food venues. They also show that the average salary for most will not support the higher prices for new housing and parking, and that ‘green spaces’ will be severely limited or omitted. Meanwhile the top tier will choose to live in less cluttered, more relaxed surroundings and continue to commute to work.

Add to that the current trend to basic penitentury style architecture that is being promoted as the ’next new thing. The future will be interesting.

coming to a small town near you. goodbye, rural and suburban life. when the govt offers those incentives, its hard for town govts to resist……..
