This one cracked me up, and then I showed it to my wife, who has been known to buy some cheaper cuts of meat from time to time. She laughed so hard she pulled a muscle.

It’s not economical when there’s little or no meat on your “meat”

I used to buy tongue (to make pickled tongue) for $2/lb. Now they want $7-8 for it. Tripe for pepper pot soup, similarly. There are no cheap cuts of beef anymore

She said ‘top round’ so the butcher cut around the top.
