    I was my grandmothers youngest grandson. She frequently called me by her youngest son’s name.

    Every mother knows, you start with the oldest child’s name and run down the list until you get to the one you want to talk to. “Ann, Beth,….Mary. Mary come here, now!”

    Granny used to run down the list “Donna Bonnie Pamm Kim” and then later added my niece, Hannah :) Aunt Donna was her older daughter, Bonnie was my mama, and Kim is my younger sister

    I have done that a few times with my granddaughter. So I really understand Ben here. It is a wonderful feeling that connects the generations.
