Fun fact: Aladdin never actually had a flying carpet in the original story. One Thousand and One Nights does include a story with a magical teleporting carpet, but it didn’t really fly.

King Solomon had a flying carpet in some legends, but it was hundreds of square miles, and was sometimes ridden by tens of thousands of people at once. More of a flying city, at that point.

now where would Lio go on that rug when there’s so much chaos in the world?

Cue in iconic Steppenwolf soundtrack…..

It doesn’t fly until you wrap, knot, and trim the tassels.

I would love a magic carpet!

I want one. Travel here would be a bit comfier.

I wish they had those activity books when I was a kid. Connect the dots and find the differences were the short cut to boredom.

The entire picture is so peacefully sweet.

This is the one time I’ve seen that getting “called on the carpet” might not be a bad thing.
