    Fun fact: Aladdin never actually had a flying carpet in the original story. One Thousand and One Nights does include a story with a magical teleporting carpet, but it didn’t really fly.

    King Solomon had a flying carpet in some legends, but it was hundreds of square miles, and was sometimes ridden by tens of thousands of people at once. More of a flying city, at that point.
