Weeds or wild flowers, what’s the dif?

Depends what you are planting You don’t want weeds with your vegetables and herbs.

The difference between a weed and a “plant” is location. Since my wife died in March there have been many flowers that have grown where none were planted and they weren’t perennials. I like to think that they are flowers from Heaven and she sent them to me.:)

I live in the desert. If it grows I let it.

They are all God’s gift.. but I draw the line at dandelions and thistles.. they gotta go.

I just pulled on of these from under my Hydrangea a couple of days ago. It was really big.

I saw a gorgeous weed growing in the yard a couple decades ago so I left it alone. Within a couple of weeks it was ugly. Turned out it was a thistle and it fought back hard about being removed.

Besides, pulling the weed would require an effort.

Oh, Me,Me. My mothers friends and my school mates parents,had a farm with a field of Dandelions and the Dad made wine and we had greens boiled,fried,etc. When in season. Oh and the Blueberrys,raspberries, that we picked from abandoned farm/homestead fields.

Francesca’s hair always makes me grin.

If you want it there, then it’s not a weed.

Our species is the only one that needs to label anything!
