You won’t like the results eating 100 slices when you’re middle aged, Peter.

AND if you make that many cuts with the wheel knife… while using the opportunity to clean it after every cut, you probably get another 1/128 th of the pizza that way alone.

Yes, I believe that Amend has carefully drawn “cuts” making 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/64 and 1/128 size slices (powers of ½). I did NOT count the slices on the last three images.

Instead of cutting his pizza’s by doing powers of ½. I thought that he would have increased pizzas by doubling, (X times 2). Thus one pizza. Then two pizzas. Then four pizzas and so on.

Ahhh .. those heady days when I was < 30 yrs. old. Those were good times when you didn’t have to watch what you ate.

There are all-you-can-eat pizza buffets. My record, back when I was a teen, was 29. I’d probably stop at three today.

We didn’t have pizza very often when I was a kid, but I remember one time when we went to a pizza place, and I wanted a 12" pizza, but my mom wouldn’t let me.

Something Jason would do just to prove a scientific point, but even Paige approved on this one. (If Peter would give her that 28.)

The last time I could eat more than 8 slices of Pizza I was 15, now its 2 and done, 3 slices really is pushing it, 4 slices is an evening of regret and antacids!I actually took my allowance money one afternoon after school and rode my bike down to Augie’s Pizza at the mini mall across the tracks and got a large with everything for myself. That last slice was tough to finish, but I did it and went home and had dinner an hour later! I couldn’t afford to feed myself today If I still could eat like a horse.

If you want exactly one hundred slices, cut the pizza in fifths, cut each slice in fifths, then quarter each of those slices. Now you don’t have to share spare pieces, if you can find slices.

Pizza strings, the next hot snack (well, not literally since it would cool).

Peter’s probably eaten over 100 slices in the course of his lifetime.

Peter, based on past depictions of his eating habits, is already capable of eating 100 slices. I doubt he needs the practice. (But he could use some help with fractions.)

This strip also reminded me of this Golden Oldie:

“Should I cut your pizza into six slices, or eight?”

“Oh, definitely six! I could never eat eight!”

    And this classic TV line:

“Poor little pizza! Ain’t good for nothin’!”

    — Ed Norton, The Honeymooners, comically bemoaning the lack of nutritional value in his pizza, after Ralph has been extolling the healthful benefits of a salad.

The way Paige is generally portrayed, I’m surprised she knew about the extra 28.

Glad Peter is putting his math to use. Personally it’s either a whole pie folded over, 4ths, or 8ths. Nothing else.

The part left over for Paige is more than 1/5 of the pizza.

I remember how much I enjoyed reading FoxTrot a long time ago. Every time my mother handed me the Sunday comics, I’d save FoxTrot for last, as I always thought it to be the funniest. I’m starting to grow fond of this comic a few years later, I suppose. At least the community isn’t filled with braindead spammers, and these comics aren’t stale and boring like those of Big Nate, although I do suppose that reading about 95% of all available Big Nate comics on GoComics contributes to that fact.
