No wonder Take a Chance is off to the races in P2 and P3, Oakwood’s baseball team showed up for the season opener. What DB or LB wears the numbers 1 or 2?
As the ‘Larks (finally) ease into the ‘21(?) season, over in Milford, OH, the Eagles avoid the perils of a trap game as they hold off the Loveland Tigers 28 – 24 whose valiant efforts to pull the upset falls short, the Eagles can now focus on next week’s difficult road conference game at Winton Woods, no signs Thorp standards of “excellence” in these parts as these birds are thinking first in the Valley, first in the playoff region and first in the state!
Does (takin’) a Chance Macey wear #32 or #31, does he have multiple personalities in addition to his short fuse? Is he just conflicted? Does one have to be careful with which Chance one p***es off to set off a blow top mad?
Color me confused, in the Sep 15 strip, Chance is white. Which to me means, according to the narration box,(CM, an unused threat) that in panel #2 Chance #31 is blocking for the other runner #32. In panel #3 #31 finally gets the ball and is so excited he skips for the TD. OR, since he hardly ever carries the ball, he fumbles it on the 1 and Oakwood recovers.
I recall one time where former Milford assistant and Oakwood Coach Tod Andrews has EVER won in football against Gil. Tod should revert back to the Magnum P.I. look. The Merciless Ming, bald headed fart look isn’t cutting it.
Wow, Oakwood this year has the least intimidating uniform color I’ve ever seen. I don’t think they’ll be doing much winning this year. Except for this game, when Tevin chokes at the end. And speaking of the end, what better way to end your week then by reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
With the new in-game betting app Vito from Goshen has started and based on the influential MUT panels, huge money coming in for the “Tevin Chokes /Mudlarks Lose” parlay.

Wow, Oakwood really needs to work on their conditioning, if Macy’s really running in that alternating-tire-drill stance.

The Oakwood Blue Man Group look like dogs chasing a fire engine. Tod needs to coach em up.

P3 Poor fundamentals, a fumble waiting to happen the way he is holding the ball!

P-1: so the Offense is that irritating sound
P-2: Hmmm, isn’t the whole idea of a threat that it hasn’t been used? Redundancy Police!

Looks like Oakwood doesn’t know they don’t have the ball and have all their QB’s on the field

P3: Milford’s getting a little overconfident already- the guy’s skipping down the field.
