What happened Red? Was it something that your brother Martin did?

This brought tears. Depicts my feelings exactly. I recently lost two lifelong friends within a week of each other. Sad times.

Red and Rover are practicing a Biblical principle. “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬https://bible.com/bible/114/rom.12.15.NKJV

This is how my dog and I are since my mother passed away 2 weeks ago. I lived with mum and cared for her until her death and Shilo, my dog, always lived with us. He loved her so much too. I know he is missing her as much as I am.

    GOOD FRIENDS

Good friends are hard to find

    Harder to leave

    And impossible to forget

Whenever I tear up, either after being sad or happy, my Lizzie immediately jumps into my lap, licking my face. She is such a comfort. It’s a special gift, I’m thinking.

My second dog, Morgan, was just like Rover—when I was ill, he was at my side, sharing the sofa when it was the only place I was comfortable. And when he became old and infirm, I slept on the floor beside him. “Some lives are like a song we know we’ll always carry with us.”
