For crying out loud, people, do NOT give false encouragement when it comes to something like this. You don’t want her thinking she’s great and then going on to actually work on somebody and mess it up. That stuff is permanent.
Kat is just starting! She has years to go before she can even begin to think about tattooing a human being. So a little encouragement now, will keep her working at getting better…tho’ this doesn’t look much like the “little” part…

Wouldn’t using a tattoo pen on paper on a desk be 1. A WHOLE lot harder and 2. mess up the pen? (I don’t know anything about getting/making tattoos)

I have never seen tattoo artist who did not have tattoos themselves like in this strip. A pretty unusual career in which to apprentice a child.
