Reminds me of when we came home from dinner one evening – back in the 70’s. There were shreds of scattered leaves all over the kitchen and family room floors. In the family room we found a verrry drunk cat named Sud. He had wrangled the cupboard door open, pulled out a sack of catnip leaves, and obviously had himself one heck of a party. Needless to say, the next batch of catnip was kept in a much higher cupboard and I’ve been telling this tale for almost 50 years now.
There IS artistry in these drawings, but it’s artistry in service of schmaltz. And those triangular, praying-mantis things he wants us to believe are cats are SO off-base, designwise. Cats have fluffy, fat paws, not leaves like a plant, that taper to a point.

Actually, that’s what often happens if I try to block the cat. . .I end up knocking something over. . .usually it’s my coffee. . .

Well, I was going to say “Sky surfing”, but I think “kitchen boxing” might be more technically correct.
