Best Pizza I ever ate was in Italy and Germany while in the Air Force During the 60-80’s. Never had a good pizza Stateside. Some are tolerable but not good.
My wife and I decided to start our Pepperoni Pizza Day celebration early — we had pepperoni pizza for dinner on Friday, and finished the leftovers for lunch on Saturday.
Wilberforce demonstrates his devotion to this sacred day, but Brutus looks like he thinks the kid’s suggestion is a little over the top. I’d expect him to embrace the idea with gusto.

That’s a good start.

I always tell them to leave off the pepperoni on my pizza. My puny stomach can’t handle that stuff. Anything else is fine though.

Sorry to say that ‘pepperoni’ don’t fit for pizza.
I affirm this as a professional Italian.

I second that suggestion, Wilberforce!!!

Glad to see someone else pay attention to the National holidays. ( It’s also fried rice and string cheese day. Not necessarily together. )

My Grandma came from Italy and made her own pepperoni. I know it’s in Italy as pepperoni.

Pepperoni is only one of many toppings on my pizzas. Is that still a pepperoni pizza?

If something is good, doubling it has to be great. Happy Pepperoni Pizza Day one and all……

Makes sense.. one peperoni each, after all both will be eating it.

After all you can get a pepperoni pizza 364 days of the year. On this special day you must go double

Know what I am surprised you never hear of on pizza? Pastrami. Admittedly, I have never had it.
I know in Italy we were told they do not have pastrami in Italy.
