Was it Poncho? Was it really? (I don’t think so. He’s so cute.)

Hold on, before we all applaud Poncho’s conscience, he didn’t say WHY it was wrong. I figure he thinks it was wrong because they didn’t give him any food…

Sooo, did you get a snack? Yeah, yeah, wrong and all that, but did it work? I’m wondering what became of that Westboro bunch.

In Massachusetts, the law prevents serving food and beverages at funeral homes, not even a coffee urn or tea pot. The only “refreshment” at both my parents’ services was the water fountain between the restrooms. We had the extended family dinners after at my dad’s favorite restaurant (an historical inn gating to the early 1700s), and my mom’s family dinner at her favorite place (a former train station, where she used to meet my dad’s train and then have dinner when they first moved to the home where they spent the last 33 years of their lives together). They both passed about 13 months apart.

Not just wrong, Poncho. It was dead wrong.

Panel One: This Mondrian-like composition, very few lines yet suitably realistic, makes me appreciate Gilligan’s artwork all the more.
