This is a very old gag, but still funny!

From the fact that you have only four teeth you must get lots of practice.

I know I’m getting old when I remember reading this joke the 2nd or 3rd time it was published in The Readers Digest 30 years ago!

Hey! If the dentist is addicted to painkillers what business is it of yours?

There is a time to transcend and there is a time to submit.

Also a time to relax and drink a well hopped Hazy IPA!!

My dentist will see this one! Very funny.

Ever since he got his false teeth, he’s been going on about this.

thankfully, my dentist will be administering me anesthetic tomorrow morning…

I actually did have cavities filled without getting painkillers. In one case, a filling had come out. In the other case, some fillings were old and would have come out. So, the dentist had to clean up the existing holes, and correctly assessed doing that would not cause me pain.

I prefer not to get novacaine when getting a cavity filled.

And people complain about Pastis’ puns. Don’t look at me I like both Thaves and Pastis.

“Look, you have three options: Novocaine, lidocaine, or lotsa pain.”

I have a friend that follows that practice, she’s is much tougher than I am.
