nothing is not nothing because everything is a something but something CAN be nothing but nothing should be nothing, but nothing is something is nothing.

He must be confused if he’s not jumping for joy at food, maybe his tummy is full of nothing…..

His expression in the next to last panel-priceless!!!

Ah, philosophy! College dollars wasted on an elective.

Of course the bowl is full. It is always full. When there is no food in it, there is always air in it. There is no such thing as an empty bowl.

The last panel indicates that Buckles’ mind has been blown.

Flea is quite the philosopher.

Buckles: “That’s inconceivable!”

Flea: "No, if it was inconceivable, it couldn’t be “conceived”, and since you conceived that it’s inconceivable, it’s not."

Buckles: “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!”

So Flea just admitted that Buckles’ statement was correct.

I continue to believe that Flea is no help at all.
