Hilarious! My wife and I are visiting Philly later this month, mixing business and pleasure in one trip. We just booked tickets to tour the Eastern State Penitentiary, and now this story shows up!

Funny joke, but ghosts are locked to the place of their death via some great trauma. Thus, they couldn’t leave even if they wanted.

Ohio State Reformatory, in Mansfield Ohio Was where they filmed “The Shawshank Redemption”. They have “ghost tours” too.
