When I pay bills, I always think of Tennyson, “Oh, what a wild charge they made!” Particularly when paying the light bill.

Just got notice that our monthly averaged propane bill is going from $45 to $115. Looks like a troubled winter for a lot of people.

Today’s strip reminds me so much of Curtis, when dad pays the bills and Curtis like Jason wants money to buy.We are waiting on natural gas from a major gas company, making up from past February. Imagine the workers of that major gas company kept nice and warm.

they could have had lots of money left over if they hadn’t chosen to have kids… but then we wouldn’t have much a comic strip would we

Maybe a math genius, but really stupid in other ways……

CPI inflation calculator sez that $50 in 2000 (the date of this strip) would be $82 in today’s money. Not that much of a difference, but it puts it in perspective.

Wow, current events that will become very apparent in the next few months.

And yet again, this comic is prohetic.

Another example of the boy genius’ total lack of smarts about everyday things.
