Split one empanada with Estella or two… which is it, Baldo?
Or we could just split.
Nobody can eat just one.
He’s a growing boy, honey, he needs the whole empanada, as well as splitting yours!
Baldo, what is this thing you call split? Let’s start off with two apiece and go from there.
Been out with a long time couple who share every meal when out in a restaurant. Huge portions and smaller appetites are the reasons. A couple of times they’ll suggest to split 4 ways. That’s when I shake my head no.
Hmm. “We order two empanadas; we split one (that’s ‘sweet’); and I get the other.”
Split two? That’s twice as sweet!
You cut one in half, but I get to pick the first piece. That way it will be fair.
Hate to sound ignorant, but would someone tell a very English Canadian what an empanada is?
Think pork pie. Without the gelatin. Sort of.
just googled it, and they sound yummy. Are they always savory, or are there ones with sweet fillings, too?
