I don’t think so. Pretty sure most science books drew atoms and molecules as round. The straight covalent bonds pictured are actually invisible magnets. Even the DNA structure is pictured as a spiral line.
I wonder if Nancy will do anything to ultimately cost this competition for her club as well -- I imagine that if she does, the other kids who’re still in the club (including Esther) would all threaten to quit unless the teacher-advisor for it (I can’t remember her name) kicks Nancy out of the club…for good.
