As my father used to say, “If it was a snake it would bite you.”

That is funny. YOu must have never gone out of paid no attention to anything to have not noticed returning to the house that the ‘back yard’ had sailboats, or you didn’t know what those things were that kept moving back and forth.

I wanted to move to the coast after high school, but I got a bit sidetracked. Now I’m aiming for retirement.

“That little thing? I just assumed it was the neighbourhood pond.”

Awww…..

Seriously, that isn’t possible.

“Oh, and when do I get to meet Ed?”

Gonna get pretty chilly come winter. Some things are worth it though.

Some culture shock in your future? Did you adopt the backwards flat cap about this time?

In your defense, Lennie, moving is extremely stressful and it can take a little time to get your bearings…. and your sea legs, so to speak.
