For those too young to remember, ‘ring around the collar’ was a catch phrase used in commercials for Wisk, a laundry detergent and stain remover. I don’t think it’s made anymore.
I always like to see how the dialogue from these strips is translated into Spanish for Snoopy en Español, especially when it’s one like today’s that refers to a old TV commercial that most likely wouldn’t be known outside of the U.S.
In the Spanish translation, Snoopy says, “Excuse me… my neck collar is clean.”
