All the rescue dogs we had since 1960 were ‘obedience trained’. We learned much about ourselves & the various mix bread dogs we had. Now in our mid 80s no more dogs. But frequently use the command ‘stay’ when placing something on any surface ..to help us remember where we placed it, or knock it over with hands that sometimes have motions we didn’t intend!
Young Opal looked like Betty Paige. When I got married, my new bride looked like late teen-aged Hayley Mills. That was over fifty years ago, and she’s in the next room as I type this.
