Great answer. The few times I’ve seen “MOM”, I can understand his choice in dumping her. Lucretia is actually nice and she really loves him and tries with Cynthia to be a good parent.
I asked my mom that question a decade ago, cause it seemed to me that her life would have been so much better if she had either never met my dad or dumped him when she went to college. To this day she still insists she would have done everything exactly the same, right up until she had me, cause I was the one thing from that life she really wanted. (She admits, however, that in the new timeline she would have filed for divorce the second she fled California with me :D)
