Eating too many twinkies tends to give him a puffy body look.

Dry clothes on a line all summer…on good days, of course. Wish I could be off-grid. Responsible clothes owners know the deal.

As a kid, trying to not die while riding a steel skate nailed to a 2×4, I would have never guessed the boards would evolve into viable transportation.

Why didn’t George get any clothes on him?

I think George is seriously aerodynamic – if he could shed these folks he could get to some serious speed!

My neighbors dry their clothes on a line outside. They don’t seem all THAT crunchy-granola, but I’m pretty sure it’s for Green reasons; the clothesdryer is one of the biggest consumers of energy in your house.

(In Australia drying clothes on the line is still the norm, I believe, but of course their climate is conducive to it.)

I ran into a clothes line running away at night with stolen cherries. Cherries were good.

Looks like the characters are dressed as other old-time comic strip characters. Verne is “Knucklehead Smith” but I can’t place the other two (from Li’l Abner and Katzenjammer Kids?)

Puffy sleeves are good for storing extra Twinkies.

I still use a clothesline unless it’s raining, very cold or that time of year when everything outside for more that 10 seconds turns sickly green-yellow.

The Pumpkin Who Couldn’t Smile A Raggedy Ann & Andy Halloween special. There is a skateboard chase that is very funny.

I love the smell of clothes and towels that dried on the clothesline.
