There’s nothing in the Bible about the “rapture”. It’s a theory invented by John Nelson Darby (who also invented dispensationalism) in the 1800’s. The Bible verses he relies on are actually ones which refer to people being taken away for judgement, not being taken to heaven. Sinners are taken, and righteous people are left behind (Darby seems to have ignored this fact). So in fact this cartoon works on that level – all the people who are missing are the ones being judged, and the only “holy” character is the guy at the bar in the last panel :)
