And this is exactly why we all drive ourselves separately and meet up at the destination. Arriving one by one, over the course of hours and hours. It’s so much easier on the nerves than dealing with people who refuse to follow the map. (I know a better route, they said. HA!) Or who cannot manage to be ready to leave on time. Or who have to stop all the time to take photos or get a snack and a drink. Or whatever.
