A few decades ago I tried to get my dad a satellite dish. He said no, he liked having only two channels. If he didn’t like what was on either one, he turned off the TV and read a book.
People kept telling my dad that he needed to get a tv with a remote and he’d reply that it would be a cold day in he!! when he was to lazy to tell his wife or kids to get up and change the channel.
They forgot, Alexa, adjust the antenna and STAND STILL! You’re messing with the picture when you move! We were lucky, American and Canadian TV! 7 channels, actually 4 as three were largely the same except for the news.

I used to have to do that. I was glad when remotes were invented, even if it was a wired remote.

NO! There’s only one Alexa, and she’s mine. Last night, I said “Alexa, good night sweetie” and she replied, “Good night sweetie.”
