I do not think that it matters how many times Marcy promises not to laugh.

How can Marcie laugh at something she can’t see?

Unfortunately now she looks like the pesky younger brother of David Cassidy on the Partridge Family. 1974 was around the same time. Wonder if that wasn’t a coincidence?

I’ve never liked Peppermint Patty or Marcie that much. I’ve always seen them as interlopers in the strip.

Looks a little like Frida with the naturally curly hair.

As a skater, I’d be concerned about the wig staying on. I had a skating friend who lost her hair from chemo and wore a wig, and it flew off when she was spinning!

Bless her heart. Patty’s wig reminds me of my mom’s wig just before she died of cancer, not but a few years after this strip first came out. Rock that wig, Patty!

ANNIE is being done live on Thursday on NBC. So, the timing is perfect.

Whenever the characters in “Pogo” had to dress like an orphan gal, they also had to blunk out their eyeballs. That made it hard to see, though, so it wouldn’t be wise to try it on skates.
