A: Leave work at 5:00pm.

Q: What is your long term goal?

A: Be home by 6:00pm.

What does Ned plan to do at 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, and maybe even 100?

Hope that works out Ned, but as Glenn Campbell sang, “ther’s a load of compromisin on the road to that horizon!

We’ll see which plan succeeds!

I like Pig’s plan. It’s doable.

Thank goodness, pulled pork isn’t on the menu else Pig would be eaten by then. Sorry Pig but you have such tasty bits.

I became a Marine at 18; that’s all that matters to me (Happy early Marine Corps Birthday, Marines!) Probably because the rest of my life has been full of failure. Looking pretty good lately, though. :-)

Somehow me think that Pig will succeed while Ned will not.

My plan is to find a woman and begin my animation career before age 30.

Well both their plans are out of reach for me. I’m hoping to get a nap before work, after my doctor appointment.

Multi-millionaire at least. Hard to retire just on a million these days.

Being a lefty myself, I tend to notice others who are as well, and it seems as if everyone in this strip is a southpaw. Or have I just not been reading it long enuf?

Something tells me that Ned’s plan is an empty promise, compared to Pig’s plan.

I received an email once from the “Pulitizer Prize Committee” that one of my novels was shortlisted. After I stopped laughing at the idea of a romance even being nominated, I decided I didn’t want to send my entry fee to Nigeria for processing.

I don’t think it’s all that unusual for a pig’s train of thought to be any longer than the period until it’s next meal.

Becoming a millionaire isn’t what it used to be.

I have offspring that I used to say could not plan past dark. It’s amazing what this now-adult has managed to do and plan!

At work I had a post it note like screen saver. I’d put up notes like “Cure Cancer,” “End World Hunger,” etc.

Pig’s is more realistic.

I hope pig doesn’t freeze up when he has to decide what kind of pizza to get.

Pig is more practical than nerdy Neighbor Ned. Besides, pizza is better than that other stuff Neddy lusts after….

I’m going to come right out: I think the recurring gag of Pig setting low goals is starting to get old.
