He’s almost a self made man.

He’s had a lot of replacement parts over the years.

I seem to recall Edward Herrmann, in his role as Herman Munster (yes, in 1995 he played the part in a wonderful TV movie homage to the original series), making a similar observation about how his unique anatomical structure made him a part of the community — just before the family was driven out of Transylvania.

They say, men marry women hoping they will never change and women marry men thinking they can change them, so all the best bits – what’s to complain about?
