    Reminds me of “Black Like Me”, the excellent book by John Howard Griffin about a white guy (himself) passing for a black man in the Southern US of the ‘50s. Article’s from 10 years ago, but the racism never dies. Pretty sure it’s no longer “included in high-school curriculums” as it was then.
