Kid is going to grow up and get an apartment in the city.
Leave them on the ground. they provide cover for little critters and compost to feed the tree and grass for next year.
Better hurry kid! Another twister’s comin’.
And if the dog’s on the lawn, don’t worry, he likes a good back rake…https://www.gocomics.com/bliss/2021/11/10?ct=v&cti=2208697
That size tree should make a good leaf pile!!
“Spud, Spud, Spud, Spud!!!!”
This looks like my back yard. My property abuts some conservation land and we seem to have gotten all the leaves.
Yes, I used the word, “abut”. Now stop giggling.
We had a leaf sweeper. Would take care of that in 30 minutes.
Roger that, Dad……
just mulch it where it lays…
nice pep talk %
Compost is great for trees and grass, but what critters ? Not weeds please!
Harry loves to draw trees. And they’re good trees by the way. We need more dogs though. Where’s Baxter (or whoever)?
Most tree leaves are too acidic for grass. If you’re going to go that route, plan on a heavy dose of lime, too. Which, incidentally, will also help speed leaf decomposition.
All those crazy-beautiful leaves! So light, and so very many
