Go with firefighter, the job is steadier than philosopher…

Firefighter, the pay is better !

Nerwin could still do the first part. Firemen have some down time when he could save the planet, too. Besides, most firemen often try to make the world a more gracious and congenial place.

Firemen are often philosophical, if you hadn’t done this or you did do that, you wouldn’t have a fire.

And a firefighter is even a more noble occupation.

Sadly, “gracious and congenial” doesn’t seem much in demand in the world today…

Both are good choices, Nerwin, but the latter may be more practical….

He needs to find SOMETHING, the Troll field is overcrowded.
