Today is:

National Candy Day. I just got some half price Halloween candy yesterday. I got candy corn, M&M’s and fun size Milky Ways

National Men Make Dinner Day. I don’t have a man so I guess I’ll be making my own dinner.

National Chicken Lady Day. National Chicken Lady Day on November 4th annually honors Dr. Marthenia “Tina” Dupree. For 12 years, Dr. Dupree worked for the second-largest chicken restaurant in the world as the Director of Community Relations and Training. She was widely known due to her work in the community. During this time and through her work with the community and the people she helped, Dr. Dupree became known as “The Chicken Lady.”Dr. Dupree led numerous efforts to improve education in her community. She provided training and certification that led to business opportunities to many in her area. She not only led by example, but she enhanced the lives of those around her.

I know there’s at least one person besides me here in UT on TC. I just want to let him/her know that the state has an unclaimed funds website. (I think all states have them) I found two claims for me totaling $391 and change. I filled out the online form and got my check the other day. It took less than a week. I think mine were for overpayments to my medical provider for one of my surgeries because they were with IHC (Intermountain Health Care), but they money could be from a long list of places. Banks, credit unions, stores you might have overpaid for a charge account, hospitals, etc.

Hope we get an Oliver update tomorrow. Hang in there, little buddy!
