My “little church” was a very huggy group. The peace was not complete until everybody hugged everyone else.

We now meet on Zoom, We now offer the peace in sign language. Even when the infection rate was low enough and the weather nice enough for a personal gathering in outdoor services we did this.

I was born into a northern European-like culture. It wasn’t very “touchy-feely.” Hugging another man would have been considered gay. I’ve since become comfortable with hugs and sometimes appreciate them.

Fortunately, my closest friends have been vaccinated and “play by the rules,” so we feel safe hugging each other.

My luck I’m next to the guy who hasn’t bathed, shaved or put on deodorant since before Christmas.

I think the good ship Cumbya sailed off long ago.

I think it needs a big kick in the A$$.

We’re already in a huge cluster f—k, you mean there hasn’t been a cluster hug first??? I suppose we didn’t get kissed first either…

And to get into the Guinness Book of Records…

Can we do that “virtually”, Aunty? I’m not really keen on joining a congregation of 7 billion people!

So you want us all to get sick? Herd immunity really hasn’t worked.

I do miss hugs from my close friends and my sister, she is in a nursing home that is 1 1/2 hours away and they aren’t allowing visitors but she was great for me when soon to be ex husband left me and she got me through the really rough days until she had to go to the nursing home summer of 2020. I wish my Mom was here instead of Alaska because Mom hugs are the best, hugging a pillow while I am crying just isn’t the same as a person you love hugging you. Virtual hugs (( )) to all my friends on here who need them.
