Snoopy, send over a bag of catnip 15 minutes prior to your visit .. the kitty will be mellow .. or maybe not.

Hand? Never mind the nit picking, back to the willing suspension of disbelief. And notice the hand is not offering the cat his dinner in friendship. That would the taking it TOO far.

Alas, poor hand, we hardly knew ye…

Maybe he should make a treat/gift for the cat instead! Peace offering?

I think you should shove Linus’ blanket in his mouth and go back to sleep.

This is one of the reasons I don’t like Linus very much. Nothing someone else does is ever quite good enough for Saint Linus. I don’t see him going over there and extending any hands in friendship to the cat.

Had they invented the Ove glove yet?

As Snoopy once said about going to see the vet: “He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named.”
