An English muffin with some melted butter? Yummy.

Snoopy the snow dog…

This is the same dog with a luxury apartment inside the doghouse. I’ve had pets like that; you buy them expensive nests and “cat trees” and they prefer to find the most awkward, uncomfortable object to sleep on or in.

Sorry, Snoopy, no English muffin. Supply chain issues. They are stuck in a storage container on a boat from Liverpool that has been in New York harbor for the last eight months. Of course, you could try Panera but that’s kind of like a warm buttered brick at the best of times.

Charlie Brown could just let Snoopy sleep inside the house with him and Sally or better yet, convince Snoopy to sleep inside his doghouse instead of on top.

with some warm coffee or tea perhaps?

Trust me, Lucy. Charlie Brown is the LAST person Snoopy would ever worry about. Or “that round-headed kid”, as Snoopy would say.

Charlie Brown may (or may not) have forgotten about Snoopy in the storm, but Pepperidge Farm remembers…!

We had a Husky years and years ago (early 70s) – he would not sleep in his house, but would lie out in the yard, allowing the snow to bury him. His nose would be sticking out of the snow… it was his way I guess. Never liked being in the house either.

Years later, my mom had a Husky/Collie mix who would do the same thing. But she would go into her dog house when it got really cold (like -25°F!)… she was no dummy. :-P

It looks like a snow sculpture they made.

a snow blanket can be the best of insulation – however – it is a little hard to warm food up when you are under one.

We would if we could, Snoop. You’ve been entertaining us for as long as I’ve been able to read – and I’m 75.

Irish coffee would really hit the spot

Don’t know what it is about dogs and snow. Mine absolutely love it! They dig in it, slide on it, eat it instead of drinking their water. I think winter is their favorite time of year!

Poor little cousin, you don’t yet have the knack for hibernation – but you’re getting closer!

Maybe it’s too painful to sleep inside…ever since the fire that destroyed his original doghouse and his van gogh painting. Thought i am not sure if this strip is before or after that event.

I have to laugh every time Lucy acts like she cares about other people.

I’m thinking a hot cup of coffee might be better

Weird how selective Lucy is about being concerned with Snoopy.
