I feel all those things without watching tv.

Bingo! The whole idea is to make you feel inadequate.

Make you believe you are lacking, or missing something, then offer to sell it to you = Marketing.

“Check my look in the mirror. Want to change my hair, my clothes, my face!”

i’m all those things, too (not all those things…?), plus, i’m not smart enough. but i got over it…

Just get a couple bathtubs you can set in the backyard to watch sunsets.

If those people in commercials got any skinnier they would disappear.

Commercials are why I stopped watching TV back in the ‘70s. I even listen to Spanish radio stations, so I can’t understand the commercials.

I have TIVO, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and HBO Max. What’s a commercial?

Hey, I got three out of three too……

One of the reasons I like British TV; the actors look like people. Even the “sex-pot” characters tend to look like everyday folks. On US TV, even the “homely best friend” characters (at least the female ones) tend to look smokin’ hot – often more so than the sex-pots (and, of course, on Brit cop shows, they usually solve crimes with their brains, not their guns).

Those commercials have been replaced with gambling commercials. They make me feel smart.
