Every member of the family has an agenda of sorts. Frank is my man today, as he often is.

I got a nutcracker from the dollar store. The package said, “Robust construction with solid wood handles.” It broke while cracking my sixth nut today, and there was no wood anywhere in its entire construction.

But it was only 4 dollars so I got my money’s worth!

I was given a 20” tall sculpted hollow metal head as a Xmas gift, I had no idea what it’s use was for…So I just used it as a umbrella receptacle. Only to find out later from my brother & his wife that’s exactly what it was…Lol (¬‿¬)

My “It’s not a hearing aid” has a rechargeable battery. In my mind, nothing says “old” more than constant complaining to people to speak up. Only $150.

Who was the thoughtless person that gave a scale for Christmas?

Husband got (bought himself) 4 gifts – all either in a box or sealed package. That was the sum total of gifts at our house (and he was upset I wasted wrapping paper wrapping them for him). No fuss, barely any mess. Ahh. Gifts are waste as far as I am concerned.
