I am a coffee lover, but I do understand the damage to the ecosystem that rampant and careless coffee bean growing is causing. Rainforests are being ripped out for coffee plantations. So, while there are ways to have coffee without too much damage, there is cause for concern.

There’s always a protest…can’t say anything, can’t do anything, without some twits, with no life, have to cause trouble for others.

I’ll have my coffee Black, Rory!

I climb way up to the top of the stairs

Everyone has a cause and everyone’s a victim

Couldn’t agree more, Rory.

We do need to be more aware of the impact our consumption has on our world, or we may not have a world to live on.

And yet the coffee fruit is a cherry and the “bean” is the pit. No actual beans were harmed in making my drink today.
