I am reducing my stress by binge watching “Laid Back Camp” which arrived on my door just Monday and “Komi Can’t Communicate” which landed in my email inbox last night.
Earl has discovered the secret that the virtual reality and travel industries would rather you didn’t know. Imagination is the key to relaxing expeditions to distant places or enlivening your own community without spending thousands of dollars on tickets or ever-more-expensive hardware.
So far we are having a dry December, Wednesday just had major strong winds, farming land lot of damage caused by fire. So I will try to remember when snow does come and cannot come out the image Earl gave.
We are not rich and we are happily living in Hawai`i. It takes work: Costco and Farmers Markets take the trick. I wake up every morning feeling blessed. There’s no place on earth I’d rather be.
I want to go back to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Western hospitality is not a myth. My last visit there I stayed 11 nights and not once did I feel like a visitor but that I was home away from home. I love Calgary.

Another way to reduce Christmas stress, Opal is to have your tree checked so that frogs don’t jump out of them on you!

I got a chuckle when I realized the date over Earl’s head wasn’t a row of ZZZZs. Apparently I need new readers.

You credulous old bat, stress is stress BECAUSE it’s happening in the moment. What dolt would ever write or say or think otherwise?
