I’d like to apologize for my misinterpretation of yesterdays comic. In my best impersonation of Roseanne Roseannadanna when she discovered the real meaning of Endangered Species,…..“Nevermind”.
They’re much nicer to read than a screen and you can read them anywhere. I miss getting an actual newspaper, but the expense in both dollars and ecology made it not worth it.
The local paper had a special deal: get home delivery on Sunday and he online edition for less than just the online edition. I guess they figured people were more likely to read and respond to the ads if they were in printed form. Probably true.
If no one wanted physical newspapers, there wouldn’t be any. Newspapers are not charities, they give people what they pay for.
Sorry, I’m way past irritated by people claiming that “no one wants” something that is sold, just because they don’t. If it is available to buy, someone is buying.
I still receive the newspaper in print 3 days a week (2 papers) and the local paper 2 days a week. I can’t say that the “news” makes it worth it but I like the feel of the paper and it works if the internet is done too.
