Makes you want to ask her how she can smile with a broken jaw. When she says she does not have one, you can say how would you want one telling a woman with a smile things like that.

I bet Mona would knock that smile right off that female doctor’s face real fast after hearing what she said to Donna.

Not that it’s quite the same, but I got a call on my birthday a few years back from my dermatologist regarding a lesion I had. The conversation went like this :“Mr. Xxxx (name changed to protect those who can’t read my profile), this is Dr. Zzzzz (name changed because I can’t recall his name and he died of cancer anyway).” “Yes, hi Doc, what’s up?” “You’ve got skin cancer, call my office on Monday and we’ll set up an appointment to see what we need to do about it.” No sugar-coating, no reassurances, no “Happy Birthday, make sure it’s a good one.” Fortunately, so far, the cancer has not returned, though I’m told it most likely will at some point. Hopefully Donna’s diagnosis is not as dire and her Doctor is a little more empathetic and sympathetic.
