Even tho I got one, I don’t carry it around with me like it’s my lifeline. Still rely on my landline for practically everything. Not even quite sure how to use it properly.

I hate cell phones. There is no reason for 99% of the public to be constantly connected and I believe social media should be called anti-social media.

My cell phone is so old that it is rotary dial with Roman numerals. It rings and voices come out of it. No reason other than that for a phone!

Its amusing that people will spend a thousand dollars on their cell phones but they will go outside in shorts, t-shirts, and crocs costing under 10 dollars.

iPhone 11* here. I text more than I talk. A fair number of phone photos show up on my Flickr photostream – the cameras are getting pretty good. Maps are generally used on the phone more and before the computer, especially weather maps (not that it necessarily makes a huge difference, but my degree is in meteorology). *Not planning to get a newer one yet – the one before this was an 8.

My $60 Alcatel with Android operating system does all the same stuff. The only temptation those $$$ phones have for me is the superior camera.

I’m reading this on my $200 phone. Normally I only use it as a phone. It’s too small to use as a computer and you can’t touch type on it.
